The preparation sequence before a rheology measurement belongs in the test record. Two nominally identical samples may not have experienced the same handling, conditioning or waiting period.

A before-and-after cleaning comparison needs a location plan that accounts for any effect of the first measurement. Measuring nearby but unrecorded spots can confuse local variation with the cleaning response.

An unusual rheology result deserves a method review before it becomes a product claim. Ask the laboratory whether sample interaction with the measuring surfaces could affect interpretation.

A rheology record should explain how the sample remained suitable during the measurement. For materials where evaporation may matter, the laboratory should assess that issue as part of method selection.

An immediate product-approved care instruction does not necessarily establish the final cause of a reported issue. Label the purpose of the advice so the customer understands what is known and what remains under review.

A comma or full stop can represent a decimal separator differently across data sources. Validate imported numeric fields before using coating measurements or quantities in calculations.

A mass-gain percentage needs a defined starting value. When a test report expresses water uptake relative to a dry specimen, use that specified dry mass as the denominator.

A specimen-volume calculation requires compatible length units. Mixing square millimetres with a thickness in centimetres without conversion produces an incorrect volume even when the multiplication itself is accurate.

A specimen can be evaluated for both mass change and dimensional change, but those measurements should remain separately identified. One percentage does not automatically describe the other property.

When a laboratory method specifies successive dilutions, the combined concentration factor is multiplicative. Keep the preparation record clear enough to distinguish a fraction of the previous solution from a fraction of the original.

Evaluate inspection, preparation, product knowledge and aftercare instead of choosing an installer only by price or a durability headline.
