A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Choose car polish, heavy cut compound, fine cut and finishing polish. Explore dual action techniques, pad selection, defect diagnosis and paint protection.

Lines that reappear after a repaired panel has been finished need a paint-system assessment. Their return does not automatically mean that the detailer selected an insufficiently strong compound.

Sanding abrasives and polishing pads remove material through different contact systems. Understand the distinction before treating a compound as an equivalent sanding grade.

A finishing stage should begin with a known pad condition. Residue carried from a previous cutting task can compromise a trial even when the finishing liquid is appropriate.

Door-handle recesses often contain marks but offer limited clearance. Choose a realistic correction scope rather than forcing a full-size pad into the area.

A successful polish test on a flat section does not establish a safe process at a sharp crown or body line. Treat the geometry as a separate working condition.

A touch-up spot can behave differently from the surrounding paint. Identify the repair material and its readiness before adding it to a machine-polishing plan.

Pad moisture changes a polishing comparison. Begin with a defined pad condition so a liquid is not judged against an uncontrolled amount of water.

A panel’s condition during polishing and during final inspection may differ. Build a consistent final check instead of accepting the first attractive reflection.

Colour transfer during car polishing is a reason to pause and identify the paint and contamination. A coloured pad alone does not establish how much material was removed.

A scratch can become less visible when a panel is wet and reappear after drying. Use a dry, prepared inspection to decide what a polishing service can reasonably address.

A scratch that catches a fingernail deserves caution, but a touch test is not a measurement of remaining clear coat. Do not turn it into a universal heavy-cut recommendation.

A distorted reflection can come from panel shape or finish texture rather than remaining swirl marks. Identify the type of change before adding another correction stage.
