A corrective-action response is not complete merely because it lists an activity. Define how the buyer and supplier will verify that the action addresses the recorded problem under relevant operating conditions.

When a purchasing requirement is clarified during a supplier comparison, ensure relevant candidates receive the same updated information. Otherwise, the final offers may answer different versions of the buyer's question.

A planned launch date does not resolve an unfinished technical approval. Keep the remaining evidence and its decision owner visible so a commercial deadline does not silently become permission to release an unapproved product configuration.

Keep a concise record of why a development option was rejected or deferred. Without that history, a later team can repeat the same trial or revive an unsuitable idea because its original limitation is no longer visible.

A technical handover is complete when the receiving team can locate and apply the relevant information for its role. Sending a folder of documents does not, by itself, establish that sales, support and installers understand the product system.

Metrological traceability helps connect a measurement result to a reference through a documented calibration chain. It does not automatically establish that the result is precise enough for the coating decision being made.

An expanded-uncertainty value should be interpreted with its coverage information. Removing the coverage factor or associated explanation can make two coating measurement reports look comparable when they use different reporting conventions.

A result close to an acceptance limit needs an agreed decision rule. Establish how measurement uncertainty is considered before testing rather than choosing a favourable interpretation after the value is known.

Comparing many products or outcomes increases the opportunity to find an apparently favourable difference by chance. Plan the important comparisons and the analysis before choosing the result that looks best in a large table.

A recorded zero, a missing observation and a not-applicable field have different meanings. Keep them distinct so that averages, rates and completion checks do not silently treat absent information as a measured outcome.

A repeated row may be an accidental duplicate or a legitimate repeat measurement. Use sample, time and measurement identifiers to distinguish the two before cleaning a coating-trial dataset.

Dates such as 03/04 can mean different days in different markets. Use an unambiguous date representation in coating-trial records and preserve the original context when importing older files.
