A weathering chamber can report both a reference panel temperature and an air temperature. These are different measurements, and a report should identify which one controlled the exposure rather than using an unexplained temperature value.

Q-Lab's description of xenon weathering includes separate panel and chamber-air measurements. For a coating buyer, the practical issue is interpretation: a temperature taken from one sensor should not be relabelled as the temperature of every specimen or compared with another sensor type without qualification.
Illustrative example: one supplier quotes the chamber-air setting while another quotes a black-panel setting. A simple higher-temperature ranking would compare different quantities. The buyer needs the complete test descriptions before deciding whether the exposure conditions are comparable for the intended coating claim.
This distinction does not establish a maximum application temperature or service-temperature rating for a NANOLAB product. Weathering chamber conditions and installation instructions answer different questions. Keep laboratory exposure settings out of customer application guidance unless the product documentation explicitly connects them.
