How Often Should Coated Shower Glass Be Cleaned?

There is no single cleaning interval that fits every coated shower. Water conditions, number of users and personal-care products all influence how quickly residue becomes visible.

Start with observation

Inspect the enclosure dry between cleaning sessions. Note where film first appears and whether the routine removes it easily. A guest shower and a frequently used family shower may need different schedules even when the same coating was applied.

Separate quick care from cleaning

An approved after-use drying routine can be convenient, but it does not replace removal of soap film or deposits. Keep both tasks clear in the household instructions. Use the recommended cleaner rather than increasing concentration to compensate for longer gaps.

Adjust with a short record

Try a consistent interval, record the condition before cleaning and review whether the task remains manageable. If deposits repeatedly become difficult to remove, ask the installer about the routine and cleaner before adding more coating.
