Planning Ceramic Coating for Selected Vehicle Panels
Define coating coverage, boundaries, preparation and aftercare when only selected panels or surfaces are being treated.

A partial coating treatment needs an explicit coverage plan. "Front end" or "exterior protection" can mean different things to different people, particularly when paint, film and trim are mixed on the same panel.
Define what is included
List the panels and materials to be treated, plus areas that remain untreated. Photograph boundaries where a panel has partial film coverage or a local repair. Confirm the condition and previous treatment of adjacent surfaces.
Avoid promising identical appearance or water behaviour across treated and untreated areas. The result depends on their existing condition as well as the selected product.
Prepare and inspect the boundaries
Use the preparation specified for the exact NANOLAB coating and surface. Keep cleaning residue and polishing dust away from areas ready for application. Plan the spreading and removal sequence so product does not accumulate at trim or film edges.
Do not extend the treatment onto an unverified material merely to make a boundary less visible. Where local recoating overlaps an existing system, confirm the appropriate method with NANOLAB.
Provide a usable coverage record
At handover, identify the product, treatment date and covered areas. Explain the first-wash and care instructions and how they interact with the rest of the vehicle’s finish.
Keep that record for future maintenance and repairs. It prevents a later operator from assuming the whole vehicle has one uniform coating history. Use the mixed-surface map and coating aftercare handover as the basis for clear documentation.
