What to Include in a Ceramic Coating Aftercare Handover
Give owners clear product names, care dates and a response plan for early contamination so they can maintain the finish confidently.

Identify what was installed
List the coating and any base or maintenance layer for each treated surface. Record the application date and any local correction or paint limitations. Include separate care information for film, matte finishes or interior materials where relevant.
An owner cannot follow a product-specific schedule if the handover says only ceramic package.
Turn time intervals into useful dates
State the permitted vehicle-release conditions, earliest wash date and full-cure milestone where provided. Explain that these stages are different. Include the recommended wash method, compatible products and any warranty or maintenance obligations in the applicable terms.
Provide a clear response to rain, bird droppings, sap or accidental water exposure during early curing. Avoid leaving the owner to choose between neglecting contamination and using an unsuitable cleaner.
Keep follow-up straightforward
Give a contact route and explain which photographs or details help assess a concern. Record any planned inspection without implying that every visit requires another layer. Review the instructions with the owner at collection and provide a copy. Clear aftercare protects the value of the preparation and reduces avoidable mistakes in the first weeks.
