From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Repeated panels may share a process, but the first accepted article can require setup and confirmation work. Show that stage separately before assuming every panel will take the same time as the first.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
The first article should establish the approved method and acceptance reference for genuinely equivalent parts. Differences in finish, geometry or condition may require another review rather than automatic repetition. The estimate needs to identify what remains constant across the run.
Arithmetic example: an illustrative first-article stage takes two hours, followed by nine equivalent panels at half an hour each. The total is 6.5 hours, not twenty hours based on repeating the initial setup.
This example is not a productivity promise. Use actual pilot evidence and product requirements, and preserve approval checks throughout the run.
