A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
A broad flat panel can look easy to fine polish, yet inconsistent section boundaries can leave bands of different clarity.

A broad flat panel can look easy to fine polish, yet inconsistent section boundaries can leave bands of different clarity. The challenge is maintaining a repeatable working pattern across a large area while the pad and operator state change.
Choose a section size that suits controlled reach and the product’s intended cycle. Use panel landmarks or a job diagram to track the layout. Do not expand the section progressively simply because the first few areas felt easy.
Keep the accepted test area available as a visual reference. Record the loading method and pad-maintenance condition that produced it. A whole bonnet is not one continuous test with an unchanged pad.
After residue removal, inspect the centre of each section and the join with the previous one. Look for untreated strips, repeated overlap and residue accumulated at the perimeter. A difference that disappears with compatible cleaning needs a cleanup response, not automatically more fine cut.
If a stable band remains, compare it with the coverage record. Identify whether it contains original defects or new fine marring before choosing a limited correction.
Periodically compare a later section with the original accepted area under the same light. If finish quality drifts, restore pad condition and review section size, contact and product reload. Do not compensate by quietly extending every later cycle.
Keep completed and accepted areas distinct on the work map. This is particularly useful when more than one technician works on the panel or when the task is interrupted.
At the end, inspect the whole reflection across the panel rather than only a series of close individual spots. The finish should read as one coherent surface. A broad flat panel rewards a disciplined coverage method: manageable zones, maintained pad condition and explicit checks at the boundaries where otherwise good sections meet.
