Wholesale Coating Samples: Match the Sample to the Purchase Specification

A sample is useful only when its identity matches the product being evaluated. Similar names, revised formulas and different packaging can make an apparently direct comparison misleading.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Record product code, batch or sample reference, document revision and intended purchase format. Ask which differences exist between the sample and planned production supply.

A buyer evaluates a small labelled bottle but intends to receive bulk material for local filling. Application performance and local packaging suitability remain separate approval questions.

Decision limits

Do not treat sample approval as approval of every future pack or formulation revision. State exactly what was evaluated and what remains open.
