Practical approach
Define the lot by the relevant product, batch and process boundaries. Agree sample selection and acceptance with the responsible quality specialist.
A few bottles selected from several different filling runs may not represent any one run adequately.
Decision limits
Do not adopt a universal sample count without considering the decision and applicable requirements. Sampling design should match the actual risk and process.
