Identify lifted or stressed film edges before coating, and keep installation correction separate from surface-protection work.

A lifted PPF edge is an installation condition that needs assessment before a coating is applied. Adding surface chemistry does not establish why the edge lifted or demonstrate that adhesion has been restored.
Photograph the affected edge in context and close up. Note whether the lifting is continuous, local to a corner or associated with a recess. Record visible contamination and the installation date. Avoid pressing, trimming or cleaning the area repeatedly before the film installer has assessed it.
A positive answer to the second question cannot replace the first. Similarly, a sound edge does not prove compatibility with an unspecified solvent or preparation product.
Let the responsible installer decide whether correction, observation or replacement is appropriate. If a section is replaced, update the panel map and installation history. Resume coating only after the film work meets its acceptance criteria and the relevant waiting and preparation instructions have been satisfied.
Take a second photograph from the same direction and record who released the area for coating. For example, a bumper corner accepted after replacement should have a new film reference, not simply a note saying “edge fixed.” At handover, explain any excluded area and its follow-up plan. This prevents a later washing issue from being confused with an unresolved installation defect.
