From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Label pitch includes the repeat distance from one label position to the next. A roll-length estimate should use that repeat distance and separately account for material unavailable for finished production.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
Divide the usable web length by the specified pitch to estimate complete label positions. Keep setup waste, damaged sections and any incomplete final position separate from the theoretical count.
Arithmetic example: fifty metres of usable web at a one-hundred-millimetre pitch represents five hundred positions before separately recorded setup losses. The estimate changes if the pitch includes a different gap allowance.
This calculation is a planning aid, not a guaranteed delivered quantity or a substitute for the printer's roll specification. Confirm actual counts and winding details with the selected packaging supplier.
