Bulk Coating Minimums: Ask Whether the Limit Applies to Liquid, Packaging or Artwork

A quoted minimum can apply to different parts of a private-label project. Clarify whether it concerns liquid quantity, bottle configuration, label artwork or another component before calculating the smallest feasible order.

The key distinction

Several minimums can coexist. A liquid offer that fits demand may still require a larger packaging purchase, while shared components may have another arrangement. The buyer needs the complete confirmed structure rather than one headline MOQ.

Practical checks

  1. List each component and its stated minimum.
  2. Confirm whether variants can share that requirement.
  3. Calculate the resulting finished-unit and unused-component quantities.

Example

Illustrative example: the liquid minimum supports one hundred bottles, but a custom label run requires more units. The project must account for the additional label stock rather than treating the liquid minimum as the total commitment.

Scope and limits

This guide does not state NANOLAB minimums. Obtain current project-specific terms and avoid assuming that different products or artworks can be combined.
