Bulk Coating Orders with Contract Filling: Define Who Supplies Each Contact Component

A contract-filling project should identify who supplies and approves the components that contact the coating. An unclear boundary can leave a hose, vessel or dispensing part outside both parties' review.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

The key distinction

Create a short responsibility map for the actual liquid path. The supplier, buyer and packer should agree which specifications and approvals govern each interface before the production date is treated as ready.

Practical checks

  1. List the contact components in the proposed process.
  2. Assign supply and approval responsibility.
  3. Resolve undocumented components before the trial or run.

Example

Illustrative example: the coating supplier approves the supply container and the packer approves its filler, but the connecting hose is selected informally by the buyer. The interface remains a technical gap.

Scope and limits

Do not treat this responsibility map as a compatibility approval itself. The relevant product and equipment specialists must assess the actual materials and operating process.
