From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Reducing a project's surface area does not necessarily reduce every cost proportionally. Separate setup and other fixed-scope work from area-dependent work when revising a coating quotation.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
The revised quote should explain which tasks remain and which disappear. This makes the change understandable without assuming that the original total was a simple square-metre multiplication. Any new access or scheduling conditions also need review.
Arithmetic example: an illustrative quote includes 200 in setup and 10 per square metre. Reducing area from 50 to 25 square metres changes the total from 700 to 450, not to 350.
These figures are not NANOLAB pricing. The actual quotation and agreed commercial terms govern the revision. Avoid presenting a mathematical example as a universal contractor pricing rule.
