Practical approach
Label the film, coating, preparation and application date on each sample. Keep an untreated reference where appropriate.
A salesperson may otherwise demonstrate a glossy-film result while answering a buyer's matte-film question.
Decision limits
Do not use one attractive sample as evidence for every finish in the range.
