An ISO 9001 certificate concerns a quality management system within its stated scope. It does not, by itself, certify the performance of every ceramic coating sold by the organization.

ISO explains the distinction between management-system requirements and product requirements. A buyer can use relevant certification as one part of supplier assessment while still requesting evidence for the actual coating, packaging and intended application. The certificate should not replace a product specification or a suitable technical evaluation.
Illustrative example: a supplier presents a management-system certificate during a coating discussion. The buyer still needs to establish whether the proposed product is suitable for the intended substrate and whether the quoted packaging is supported. The certificate and product evidence answer different questions.
This guide does not state that NANOLAB holds any particular certification. Do not place a management-system claim on a product in a way that implies product certification. Use accurate wording and the relevant certification body's requirements when describing a verified certificate.
