Coating Kit Instructions and Single-Bottle Instructions: Resolve the Scope

Instructions for a kit and for an individual bottle may describe different sequences. Make the scope explicit so that customers do not combine steps from unrelated documents.

List the supplied products

Identify every product in the kit and its role. Separate a preparation cleaner, coating and maintenance product in the contents list. Make it clear when a product is optional or used at a later visit.

Map each instruction to its item

Use the exact product identification on the pack and document. A generic reference to step two can become confusing when a bottle is sold separately or the kit contents change. Keep the standalone bottle guidance understandable by itself.

Check waiting and removal steps

Review the complete sequence for conflicting application, levelling, waiting or maintenance directions. Resolve discrepancies with the technical owner instead of averaging two sets of instructions. Verify the final document against the actual supplied system.

Control replacements

When a component is substituted, review the kit instructions as well as the bottle label. Keep the approved kit version connected to its contents and batch records so that support staff can identify the instructions a customer received.

Frequently asked question

Can the same leaflet accompany every kit size?

Only if it remains accurate for each supplied configuration. Check contents, application sequence and product identity before reusing it.
