Use a short practical demonstration to explain safe washing, tool separation, drying and the first-wash instructions for a coated vehicle.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

A customer may understand that a coated car still needs washing without knowing what to change in their routine. A short demonstration can make aftercare more usable than a long list of products. Focus on the actions that protect the finish during ordinary cleaning.
Confirm when the first wash is permitted and any initial care restrictions. Do not demonstrate a wet wash on a freshly coated vehicle before the product allows it. Use a separate suitable vehicle or a verbal walkthrough when necessary.
The first-wash guide helps distinguish initial care from the routine used later. Give the customer the exact applicable instructions rather than a universal waiting period.
Show how to assess dirt, remove loose contamination before contact and keep wheel tools away from paint. Explain why adding pressure is not the answer when a mark resists normal washing. Demonstrate clean towel handling and a suitable drying method.
Use the coated-car washing guide as the written reference. Keep the demonstration aligned with the customer’s available space and equipment so the advice can actually be followed.
Ask them to describe what they would do after finding bird residue, hard-water spots or heavy grit. This checks whether the key decisions are clear. Correct misunderstandings without turning the handover into an examination.
Clarify when to contact the installer, especially for persistent contamination or an unfamiliar chemical exposure. A simple stop-and-ask rule is more useful than encouraging experiments with stronger cleaners.
Provide the product identity, permitted first-wash timing, basic wash sequence and support details. Where suitable, include links to the relevant NANOLAB guides and documentation. Avoid handing over several contradictory instruction sheets from different products.
Record that the demonstration was provided and note any practical limitations the customer raised. The purpose is to make the aftercare handover understandable enough to use after the customer leaves the workshop.
