From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
A small pilot can use a disproportionate amount of material during setup. Separate that quantity from steady application before scaling the result to a much larger coating project.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
Simply multiplying total pilot consumption by the area ratio assumes setup losses repeat at the same rate. That may overstate or understate the full job depending on how many work sessions and equipment changes are planned.
Arithmetic example: a pilot uses 20 millilitres for setup and 80 for ten square metres of application. A single-session hundred-square-metre estimate is not automatically ten times the full 100 millilitres.
The example does not establish an application rate. Use product-approved methods and representative evidence, and include any repeated setup, unusable material or storage constraints in the final plan.
