List gelcoat, paint, glass, metal and excluded functional areas, then compare preparation and maintenance responsibilities.
A hull-only quote and a whole-vessel cosmetic package are not directly comparable even if both use the phrase marine coating.
Decision limits
Do not choose solely by cost per vessel. Establish what will actually be treated and supported.
