Practical approach
Use a representative fabric and an approved, controlled cleaning procedure. Record both the initial spill behaviour and the final dry appearance.
A droplet that beads briefly can still leave a different cleaning outcome from another spill type.
Decision limits
Do not turn one water demonstration into a claim of resistance to every stain.
