A Support Triage Process for Private Label Coating Questions
Handle coating support questions by identifying the product, surface, timing and evidence before recommending corrective action.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
Private label support works best when the first response gathers the information needed for a useful decision. Immediate advice to polish, reapply or add another product can complicate a problem that has not yet been identified.
Establish the situation
Ask for the exact product and batch reference, the treated surface and the time since application. Find out whether the concern appeared during spreading, removal, curing or a later wash. Request the preparation and aftercare history relevant to that stage.
For appearance problems, ask for photographs in clear, consistent light. A reflection, wet panel or heavily edited image can make residue and surface damage difficult to distinguish.
Choose the next information step
- Application question: compare the method with the approved instructions.
- Package concern: hold affected stock and document its condition.
- Water-behaviour change: establish washing and contamination history.
- Persistent mark: determine whether it remains after appropriate cleaning.
Avoid diagnosing chemical performance solely from one photograph. If the surface, product or previous treatment is unknown, make that uncertainty explicit and request clarification before recommending a treatment.
Escalate with a complete record
Provide NANOLAB with a short timeline and the evidence collected. Record the agreed action and make sure the person performing it has the necessary skill and compatible materials. Keep any local repair recommendation tied to the exact surface and coating system.
Use repeated enquiries to improve installer instructions and aftercare cards. Technical programme questions can be raised through NANOLAB Private Label.
