Plan a Vehicle Collection Appointment After Coating

Use the collection appointment to explain observations, care requirements and next contact.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Vehicle collection is the final stage of a coating job, not merely the moment payment is taken. A planned appointment gives the workshop time to explain the completed scope, review observations and hand over product-specific care information.

Prepare the record before the customer arrives

Confirm the installed product, treated zones and any agreed exclusions. Have the current care information ready. Identify unresolved observations that need a clear explanation rather than hoping the customer will not notice them during a rushed collection.

Walk through the vehicle and instructions

Review the work under suitable viewing conditions and relate it to the agreed scope. Explain immediate care requirements using the exact product's instructions. Do not substitute a remembered rule from another system. Invite questions and check that the customer knows how to access the written guidance later.

Establish the support route

For example, a customer who notices an unfamiliar mark after collection should know what information to send and whom to contact before trying an unapproved correction. Provide product identity, relevant dates and a concise contact path. Keep maintenance services and applicable warranty terms clearly distinguished. A good collection appointment ends with shared understanding of the result and next steps, reducing the chance that the customer leaves with a visually impressive finish but no practical idea how to care for it.

Plan collection as an inspection and explanation stage

Allocate time to inspect the agreed areas with the customer, explain remaining appearance limitations and identify the installed products. Have the job record and current aftercare information ready before the customer arrives.

If a final check finds an issue, explain what remains to be resolved instead of treating the scheduled collection time as proof that the vehicle is ready. Keep the release decision tied to the actual product and process requirements. Confirm the customer's preferred support route and where their care information is stored. Collection is successful when the customer understands the result and next steps, not simply when the keys have changed hands.
