Inspect the clean, dry finish after removing the vehicle. Ask about prior products, covers and maintenance. Check areas contacted during loading and unloading separately from broad-panel swirls. Ventilation and filtration reduce some exposures but do not establish the paint’s entire history.
Polishing the whole vehicle simply because it is being prepared for long-term storage can remove paint with little practical benefit. A capsule is also not an approved curing environment for every coating.
The useful outcome is the minimum correction needed for the agreed appearance, followed by an appropriate storage care plan. Keep storage instructions and coating cure instructions together, and avoid letting covers or equipment touch a finish before its specified release point.
