A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Water added to a compound or polish can change the material being tested. Use the manufacturer’s working method instead of creating an unverified dilution to solve wipe-off or drying problems.

Record the product, pad, tool, section size and observed problem. Difficult wipe-off, rapid drying and inconsistent cutting are different questions. Check the established process before deciding that the liquid formulation needs alteration.
Use the current directions for the exact polish. A system that specifies damp abrasives during a sanding stage does not thereby approve water addition to every compounding liquid. Keep the stages and product identities separate.
If an approved method includes added water, record the amount and sequence as specified. Compare like-for-like conditions and inspect the final dry finish. A modified bottle should not be described as the original polish in a product trial.
Review section size, pad condition and working cycle within the supplied guidance. Seek technical support when those checks do not resolve the issue. Preserve the actual observation rather than masking it with an undocumented recipe.
No. That description does not approve arbitrary dilution. Follow the exact product instructions and assess any authorised process change.
