Look at spray, damp tools, walking paths and movement of towels or containers. A line on the floor does not control transfer by itself. Identify which wet or dusty operations can overlap with coating and which should be separated in time or location.
Complete incompatible work before preparing the coating area, or use an appropriate physical and operational separation. Follow ventilation and product requirements. Do not improvise closed-room conditions to avoid dust if the coating requires a different work environment.
If washing, sanding or an unexpected cleanup occurs nearby, pause and assess the actual prepared surface and work area. Repeat the justified local preparation rather than assuming the original release remains valid. Record what happened so a later finish issue can be investigated.
No. The work environment and movement of tools can change the prepared condition.
