Use a clean, suitable finishing pad and fresh towels on a documented test area. Do not add more finishing polish to conceal an uncertain pad history. Inspect the panel after compatible residue removal and compare it with the same lighting used before the reset.
Store clean pads by stage in closed, identified locations. Keep dirty pads out of the clean stock and assign cleaning tools deliberately. When a pad’s history is uncertain, wash and assess it according to its manufacturer’s guidance before returning it to service.
No. Cleaning addresses residue; it does not change the pad’s construction or intended correction role. Choose an appropriate clean pad for the finishing system.
