Nano Coating a Frameless Shower Enclosure

Frameless glazing puts the glass edges, hinges and seals in clear view. A coating plan should preserve that appearance while keeping the treatment scope precise.

Inspect the details first

Check the enclosure documents for glass treatments and care requirements. Record existing edge damage, loose hardware or seal issues for the installer to assess. A coating service should not obscure a problem with the enclosure’s operation or structure.

Define the coated faces

Agree which faces and panels will be treated and how fittings and seals will be protected. Ensure the applicator can reach the intended areas safely and inspect them under suitable lighting. Avoid assuming a glass coating also belongs on decorative metal hardware.

Maintain the edges carefully

Follow the approved care method and avoid forcing tools into narrow gaps or against exposed edges. Check lower corners where residue may remain after routine cleaning. Keep the treated-face map and product instructions with the enclosure records. If later hardware or seal repairs are needed, tell the contractor about the existing coating before work begins.
