Inspecting Shower Glass Before Nano Coating

A short inspection helps determine whether shower glass needs ordinary cleaning, deposit removal or specialist restoration before coating. It also establishes the appearance the owner can reasonably expect afterward.

Inspect both faces

Clean with the glass manufacturer’s permitted method, then inspect dry from inside and outside the enclosure. Use the bathroom’s normal lighting and a different viewing angle where needed. Note whether the mark sits on one face, follows water flow or appears within a decorative or factory-treated surface.

Record the surrounding materials

Identify frames, handles, seals and nearby stone or metal. These may need protection from preparation products. Check for loose hardware, damaged seals and chipped glass, referring those issues to the appropriate installer. Do not include repair work implicitly within a coating service.

Agree the preparation result

Where deposits or haze remain, ask for a representative test and inspect it dry. Record which marks can be removed and which may remain. Keep photographs with the accepted scope. Coating the glass should begin after the prepared finish has been assessed, rather than being used to hide an unresolved appearance problem.
