Lighting for Shower Glass Coating Inspection

Glass can look clear from one angle while showing residue from another. Planning inspection lighting helps reveal preparation marks and application inconsistencies before the enclosure returns to use.

Establish normal viewing conditions

Inspect with the bathroom lights that occupants usually use, and view the glass from both sides where accessible. Bright backgrounds and reflections can reveal different marks. Record existing defects before preparation so they are not confused with a later application issue.

Check manageable sections

During the approved application process, work in areas that can be inspected thoroughly. Use appropriate additional lighting without creating unsafe electrical arrangements in the bathroom. Follow product instructions for checking and removing application residue; do not invent a timing based on another coating.

Review the dry final result

After the required stages, inspect edges, lower sections and broad panels from several positions. Photograph persistent marks and ask the installer to assess them before polishing or recoating. A consistent lighting record also helps when comparing the glass after weeks of normal use and cleaning.
