QUARTZ99 Maintenance: Record the Surface Before Adding a Booster

A maintenance product changes the exposed surface and can obscure the condition that prompted the service visit. Document the initial observation first.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Record cleanliness, visible defects and water behaviour, then follow the approved cleaning and maintenance sequence. Keep before-and-after observations distinguishable.

Strong beading after a booster shows the behaviour of the refreshed surface; it does not retrospectively prove the condition of every underlying layer.

Decision limits

Do not use the refreshed appearance to erase an unresolved complaint. Preserve the initial evidence and the actions taken.
