Identify the role before application
NANOLAB positions BEAST 365 as a top-coat and maintenance material focused on slickness and hydrophobic behaviour. It should be used as part of a defined compatible system, not automatically added whenever droplets look different.
Start by identifying the existing coating and its condition. Road film, minerals and wash residue may be responsible for reduced water behaviour and should be assessed first.
Prepare without removing protection unnecessarily
The appropriate preparation depends on whether the job is a new installation, maintenance of a sound coating or renewal after correction. Do not automatically polish an existing system simply because general preparation text mentions polishing; confirm the maintenance method for the intended combination.
Use clean applicators and towels and follow the current application and levelling guidance. If the surface is damaged or heavily contaminated, resolve that issue before adding material.
Treat it as a coating with its own schedule
The BEAST 365 page lists first washing at 14 days and full cure at 30 days, alongside earlier tack-free and initial-cure stages. A maintenance role does not make it equivalent to every quick detailing spray.
Record the date and panels treated. Afterwards, water behaviour reflects the outermost layer and cannot independently prove the condition of the base beneath. Read the BEAST 365 product instructions and obtain clarification for the exact existing coating where needed.
