How to Write a Private Label Ceramic Coating Brief
Define the users, surfaces, application workflow and packaging requirements for a private label ceramic coating project with NANOLAB.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
A useful private label ceramic coating brief describes the job the product must do. Starting with a name, bottle colour or headline durability claim leaves the most important decisions unresolved. Before requesting samples from NANOLAB, connect each requested feature to a customer need that can be evaluated.
Describe the user and the surface
Specify whether the product is intended for trained installers, an internal detailing team or retail customers. Explain their working environment and experience. A workshop that controls lighting and storage has different requirements from a mobile service.
List the intended surfaces separately: glossy clear coat, matte paint, PPF, vinyl, glass or wheels. Do not assume that one successful paint test establishes suitability for every material. Identify any surfaces that the instructions should exclude.
Turn preferences into evaluation questions
- Application: can the intended user spread and remove the product consistently?
- Appearance: should the original finish remain unchanged, or is increased gloss desirable?
- Care: what washing routine will customers realistically follow?
- Packaging: will NANOLAB supply filled bottles, labelled bottles or bulk material?
Describe priorities in order. If easy removal matters more than a particular visual effect, say so. Avoid requesting every possible benefit as a non-negotiable requirement; that prevents useful discussion of trade-offs.
Prepare a concise sample request
Include the target market, estimated first order, preferred pack sizes and proposed evaluation conditions. Mark estimates as estimates. Ask which requirements fit an existing system and which require a separate development discussion. Custom work, quantities and timing need written confirmation for the actual project.
Keep the approved brief with the sample results. If the target customer changes, revisit the brief before approving packaging. Begin through NANOLAB Private Label and use the sample evaluation scorecard to translate the brief into a repeatable trial.
