A textured console combines cosmetic plastic with openings and controls. Define the treatment boundary before applying protection.

Assess the starting condition

Identify hard plastic, soft-touch finishes, screens and moving parts separately. Photograph existing shine and wear. A general plastic label does not establish identical finishes across the console.

A practical working method

  1. Clean and test a suitable cosmetic area.
  2. Keep product away from controls and unapproved openings.
  3. Use the product’s specified application and residue-removal method.
  4. Inspect the dry texture and appearance.

Common mistake

Flooding recesses can leave uneven residue. A coating should not be used as a lubricant for buttons or sliding parts.

What a useful result looks like

The useful result preserves the intended finish and console function. Give material-specific care guidance and keep electronics under the vehicle’s original instructions.
