Divide work into practical zones while preserving access and product-specific return-to-use requirements.

A business that cannot close completely may need coating work divided into zones. Phasing can preserve access, but it must still respect the exact product's application and return-to-use requirements. The zone plan should be based on the actual building workflow.
Identify entrances, working areas, cleaning routes and adjacent materials. Divide the project into zones that can be assessed, treated and handed over clearly. Avoid boundaries that force occupants or other contractors to cross an area before its required conditions are met.
Include inspection, preparation, application and the relevant checks. Assign responsibility for communicating access status. For example, a lobby may remain partly open only if the route through it is genuinely separated from the work and consistent with the site plan and product requirements.
Use a current area map showing completed, restricted and pending zones. Update it when conditions or access change. Do not let the overall project date obscure different treatment dates and instructions for individual areas. The final records should preserve those differences for maintenance staff. A phased project succeeds when the business understands which areas can be used and why, while the installation team can follow the approved process without relying on improvised shortcuts to keep operations moving.
Divide the site into areas that can be isolated, treated, protected and returned to use independently under the selected product's requirements. Identify routes occupants and staff can still use and who controls access to each zone.
Do not let a convenient boundary cut through a process that cannot be continued that way without technical guidance. Record the product and completion status for every phase so visually identical areas are not confused. Build in a review between phases to capture lessons from the first area. A phased plan succeeds when the business can continue operating while the coating process remains controlled, not simply when the application is spread across several dates.
