What to Do with Towels Used for Ceramic Coating
Separate used coating towels promptly and decide on cleaning, reassignment or disposal using the product's residue and safety guidance.

Coating residue changes the towel
A towel used for levelling may hold material that continues curing after the job. Hardened residue can make the fibres unsuitable for later paint contact. The towel’s appearance or softness at first glance does not establish that it is safe.
Keep used coating towels separate from general wash and drying towels immediately. Label their previous use so another person does not return them to clean stock by mistake.
Follow the correct handling instructions
Use the coating’s safety information and the towel manufacturer’s care guidance. Some residues may require specific handling or make reuse inappropriate. Do not improvise chemical soaking mixtures to rescue a towel.
Keep contaminated materials away from inappropriate heat or ignition sources where the product’s safety information requires it. Disposal should follow applicable local requirements for the material involved.
Inspect before any reassignment
If cleaning and reuse are allowed, inspect thoroughly for stiffness, grit and residue. Reassignment to another task should still respect the risk of scratching or contaminating that surface. When suitability is uncertain, do not use the towel on sensitive paint. A simple segregation system is more dependable than relying on memory after several installations.
