Washing Microfiber Towels Used for Coating Maintenance
Maintain wash and drying towels by separating contamination types, following care labels and inspecting them before contact with paint.

Microfiber towel care begins before the washing machine. A drying towel, a wheel towel and a cloth carrying chemical residue should not automatically enter the same laundry load. Their contamination history affects whether they are suitable for future paint contact.
Sort by use and condition
Separate paint-care towels from wheels, greasy areas and other heavy contamination. Keep coating-application towels in a distinct process; cured coating residue can make them unsuitable for reuse on sensitive surfaces.
Inspect for embedded particles, hardened areas and damaged edges. Washing does not guarantee that every towel becomes safe for paint again.
Follow the textile and detergent instructions
Use a suitable washing product and the towel’s care settings. Avoid additives that leave unwanted softening or waterproofing residues unless expressly approved for that textile and use. Ensure detergent is rinsed thoroughly.
Dry as instructed and keep clean towels away from dust and dirty work surfaces. A clean towel dropped on the floor should leave the paint-care workflow until it is properly assessed and cleaned.
Inspect before the next wash
Check the towel’s feel, cleanliness and intended job. A towel that no longer absorbs or wipes consistently may need cleaning review or reassignment. Do not solve poor drying performance by pressing harder on the paint.
