Giving a Car-Wash Service Instructions for a Coated Vehicle
Provide a short coating care note to a wash service covering product identity, surface differences, restrictions and approved maintenance.

A wash service may not know what protection is on the vehicle. A concise instruction note helps prevent an ordinary wash from becoming an unplanned polishing or protection treatment.
Identify the installed system
Provide the coating name, installation date and any first-wash restriction still in effect. List PPF, matte finishes and locally treated panels. Avoid simply saying "ceramic coated" when the exact system and surface differences are known.
Keep the installer’s aftercare guidance available. A service should be able to confirm that its proposed products and process fit the vehicle before beginning.
Define the requested treatment
Specify the wash and drying scope and whether any approved maintenance product is included. Make clear that polishing, abrasive decontamination and additional protection need a separate decision based on inspection.
Ask the service to record persistent stains or damage rather than repeatedly scrubbing them. This is particularly useful around film edges, delicate trim and areas with uncertain previous repairs.
Review the vehicle at collection
Inspect the clean dry finish under suitable light. Ask what products or additional treatments were used and record any concerns. If a mark remains, establish its cause before assuming that the coating has failed.
Use the maintenance log and mixed-surface map to keep the information clear. For the original technical reference, retain the current instructions for the installed NANOLAB product rather than relying on a generic wash-service label.
