Assess adhesive residue and the actual stainless finish after transport film is removed, before adding a suitable nano coating.

Temporary protective film on stainless steel can leave adhesive or reveal marks that were hidden during installation. If ceramic or nano coating is being considered, first identify the exposed finish and remove residue through a compatible process. The protective film’s removal does not automatically leave a coating-ready surface.
Check whether the component is bare stainless, clear-coated, coloured or treated for fingerprints. Obtain the manufacturer’s cleaning restrictions. A stainless-looking surface may have a delicate outer layer that determines which preparation products are suitable.
Photograph scratches and appearance differences before cleaning. Avoid abrasive scraping across a brushed grain or using a powerful adhesive remover without checking compatibility.
Use a supported method for the specific adhesive and surface. Clean away the remover’s own residue as directed and inspect the dry finish under consistent light. A shadow that remains may represent an appearance difference rather than more adhesive.
Do not keep increasing cleaner strength when the mark is unchanged. Seek finish-specific advice if the surface begins to smear, soften or change appearance.
Review NANOLAB Stainless Steel Nano Coating and confirm the formulation, intended use and preparation instructions. An automotive ceramic coating is not a universal substitute for a home-surface treatment.
Test an appropriate discreet area and agree the accepted finish before extending application. Keep the product record and care requirements with the component’s maintenance information so future staff can distinguish the factory surface from the added protection.
