Graphene and borophene are powerful names in a product discussion.

Graphene and borophene are powerful names in a product discussion. That makes it useful to evaluate a combined coating without allowing the label to determine the result in advance. Coded samples can help reviewers focus on what they observe when comparing application or appearance.
For an organised comparison, a coordinator can assign neutral sample codes and retain the identity key. Reviewers receive the instructions necessary to use each sample correctly, along with the same observation form. They should not be asked to guess which bottle is the premium combination. Record scores before revealing the identities. If appearance or handling makes a sample recognisable, note that limitation instead of calling the assessment fully blind.
Ask reviewers to describe particular observations: spreading, visibility during application, removal effort, residual marks and appearance after the specified conditioning period. Include a space for unexpected issues. A single overall preference score can be useful, but it should not replace the reasons behind it. Different users may value different aspects of the same formula, especially when their normal working conditions differ.
NANOLAB can formulate a coating with graphene and borophene together. A coded comparison is one way to evaluate that option on its merits. It does not turn subjective feedback into a lifetime durability test, but it can make application and appearance feedback more useful.
