A dark coating may look convincingly 'graphene rich', but appearance is not a quantitative assay.

A dark coating may look convincingly ‘graphene rich’, but appearance is not a quantitative assay. Customers cannot determine an additive’s identity, loading or effectiveness simply by looking through a bottle.
Colour can be recorded as part of a product’s normal appearance and consistency checks. Compare samples in the same container, at the same depth and under the same lighting. If a sample looks unexpectedly different, ask the manufacturer whether it remains within the intended specification. That is a useful quality question; guessing a concentration is not.
A concentration statement requires a defined basis and a suitable method or controlled formulation record. A performance statement requires evaluation of the finished product. Neither follows from a photograph. In a sales demonstration, show the liquid honestly, but do not describe darkness as proof that one coating contains more useful material or protects better than another.
Use colour to document appearance. Use product documentation and appropriate measurements to discuss composition and performance. These are three different claims and should stay separate.
