Coating Support Trends After a Website Change: Compare Enquiries per Relevant Visit

Fewer support enquiries after a website change may reflect lower traffic rather than clearer information. Use a relevant denominator and comparable periods before attributing the change to the revised content.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

The key distinction

Define which visits or customers could reasonably generate the enquiry. Keep traffic mix, product availability and campaign changes visible. The result can guide further review without pretending that a simple before-and-after comparison proves causation.

Practical checks

  1. Track the specific enquiry category.
  2. Compare it with the relevant exposure measure.
  3. Review other changes during the same period.

Example

Arithmetic example: enquiries fall from twenty to ten while relevant visits fall from one thousand to five hundred. The rate remains two percent, despite the lower count.

Scope and limits

These numbers are illustrative. Do not suppress legitimate technical questions to improve the rate; the goal is clearer information and appropriate escalation for unresolved uses.
