Private Label Ceramic Coating: Compare Cost per Treated Vehicle

Compare private label ceramic coatings by measured usable yield per vehicle, including application waste, accessories and the service scope.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Bottle price is an incomplete comparison for a professional private label ceramic coating. A workshop needs to understand how much usable product a defined job consumes and what else the installation requires. Measure that yield before deciding which supply option offers better value.

Define one comparable job

Choose a representative vehicle size, surface scope and application method. Specify whether the job includes paint only, door returns, wheels or additional layers. Comparing different scopes makes a cost-per-car figure look precise while answering the wrong question.

Use the approved instructions for each candidate product. Do not reduce the applied quantity simply to produce a more attractive yield number.

Measure consumption across several installations

Record the amount used using a method suitable for the packaging and product. Include product retained in applicators and ordinary handling losses where they are part of the workflow. Record opened-bottle storage restrictions so theoretical leftover product is not treated as usable indefinitely.

Keep vehicle size, installer and environmental observations beside the consumption figure. A single unusually easy installation should not become the promised yield for every customer.

Add the relevant job costs

For a hypothetical bottle costing 60 units and providing three comparable installations, the coating component is 20 units per job. If it provides only two, that component becomes 30. These numbers illustrate the method and do not describe NANOLAB pricing or coverage.

Add applicators, towels and other required consumables. Track labour separately so a lower material cost is not mistaken for a lower total installation cost if the workflow takes longer.

Publish a qualified estimate

Express coverage in the context of the measured vehicle, scope and application instructions. Use a sensible range supported by your records rather than a universal number of cars per bottle. If the brand changes its applicator, bottle or procedure, review the yield again. This gives installers a practical purchasing basis and helps the brand plan pack sizes without relying on a competitor’s coverage claim.
