Use the glass manufacturer's appropriate inspection and cleaning route. Document the condition after cleaning and before treatment.
A deposit that clears under approved cleaning presents a different task from a persistent altered surface.
Decision limits
Do not promise restoration from a photograph or assume a protective coating will hide permanent damage.
