Coating Labels: Prevent Batch Printing from Crossing a Curved Seam

A readable batch code can become obscured when printed across a label seam, bottle curve or embossed detail. Code placement should be tested on finished packs.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Check the complete code at actual size under ordinary handling conditions. Confirm that packing, opening and product drips do not routinely hide the identification.

A code that reads clearly on a flat artwork proof may distort when wrapped around a small bottle.

Decision limits

Do not shrink the type simply to preserve a design element. Traceability information must remain practically readable through the intended supply process.
