A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Keep glass-ceramic cooktop care separate from detailing coatings and follow the appliance's approved cleaning and surface requirements.

The word “ceramic” appears in both detailing products and glass-ceramic cooktops, but it does not establish compatibility. A cooktop operates under heat, cooking residue and appliance-specific requirements that ordinary vehicle or window coatings are not automatically designed to meet.
Identify the cooktop and follow its current cleaning instructions. SCHOTT CERAN publishes specific guidance on suitable cleaners and tools, including restrictions on aggressive products. Some cooking surfaces also have factory treatments that require their own care.
Do not transfer an automotive polishing or coating procedure to the hob because both surfaces look glossy. The intended operating conditions and consequences of residue are different.
Food residue, mineral marks, scratches and surface damage require different assessment. Clean through the approved method before deciding that a new protective layer is needed. A product that makes a cold sample bead water has not demonstrated suitability during cooking.
Do not claim that an added coating will make the cooktop scratch-proof, safe for direct food contact or easier to clean at operating temperature without specific evidence and approval. General heat-resistance language is not enough.
In a kitchen surface-protection proposal, list the cooktop separately from surrounding counters, splashbacks and cabinet faces. An appliance may remain entirely outside the coating scope even when nearby compatible surfaces are treated.
For a NANOLAB product inquiry, provide the appliance model, factory surface and intended use. Unless a treatment is explicitly supported for that exact application, use the appliance manufacturer's maintenance routine. This avoids turning a familiar marketing term into an unsupported assumption about a heated food-preparation environment.
