Moisture or an Installation Defect Under PPF?
Document bubbles, cloudy areas and changes in fresh PPF without puncturing the film or assuming every mark will disappear.

A cloudy area or bubble in recently installed PPF needs context. Installation moisture, trapped contamination and adhesion problems can look similar to an untrained observer. A photograph alone may not establish the cause.
Record the observation safely
Note the installation date, location of the mark and whether it is changing. Take clear photographs under similar lighting over the interval recommended by the installer. Include a wider view so the area can be located reliably.
Do not puncture, cut or press the film to investigate. Avoid concentrated heat or strong chemicals intended to accelerate a change. Such actions can damage the material and complicate the original assessment.
Ask for a specific follow-up plan
Contact the installer with the record and ask whether the observation matches the expected settling process for that film and installation. Obtain a review point and guidance on signs that need earlier attention.
Persistent contamination, expanding lifting or an appearance that worsens should be assessed rather than repeatedly given more time without explanation.
Delay additional treatments when appropriate
Do not apply a ceramic coating to conceal or stabilise an unresolved film issue. The film should be accepted and ready for the selected product before further protection is added.
