How to Read a Ceramic Coating Quote
Use this checklist to compare preparation, product choice, treated surfaces and aftercare across ceramic coating proposals.

Check whether the car was assessed
A useful quote reflects the vehicle’s condition. Photos can support an initial estimate, but hidden contamination or repaired paint may require inspection after cleaning. Clarify when the price becomes final and how extra work will be authorised.
Separate the desired finish from the coating itself. A single-stage enhancement and extensive correction are different services even when the same product is applied afterwards.
Compare the same items
Write down the preparation steps, correction scope, exact coating, treated surfaces and collection arrangements for each proposal. Identify optional wheel, glass, trim or interior work. Ask whether the quoted process includes inspection after levelling and written aftercare.
Layer count is only useful when tied to an approved system. Multiple unspecified layers do not explain compatibility, coverage or performance.
Make handover part of the quote
Confirm the first-wash date, early-exposure precautions and the contact for later questions. If a warranty is included, obtain its actual terms and required maintenance schedule. Ask what defects are expected to remain after preparation. A clear quote should let you understand the finished result, the work being purchased and your responsibilities without relying on broad phrases such as complete protection.
